A consultant who listens and explains
We start by understanding what is difficult for you, what matters most and what you would like to know. If HEALTH ABILITY is engaged, your consultant can help you understand the rehabilitation plan, discuss work tasks and suitable duties, and coordinate with your doctor, employer, insurer and other providers. Services depend on your needs and the agreed referral.
Your recovery includes life beyond work
Returning to work can be one part of recovery. We also want to understand the daily activities, routines and relationships that matter to you. Your goals help guide a practical conversation about support and next steps. No one can promise a particular recovery outcome or timetable.
Can I ask for HEALTH ABILITY?
Yes, you can ask to discuss HEALTH ABILITY as your preferred workplace rehabilitation provider. NSW guidance says workers should have an opportunity to refuse or request a different provider. Tell your insurer case manager that you would like to request HA. The insurer arranges engagement and pays for agreed services; contacting us does not automatically appoint HA or approve treatment.
What happens when you contact us

- Confirm: Your insurer confirms engagement, scope and funding with the relevant parties.
